Nice to meet you

Hi, I’m Tabitha - The heart behind the lens at Furever in Focus.

Pets have always been a huge part of my life. From cats, rats and fish, to now being a proud dog momma to my gorgeous German Shepherd, Otis. My pets have always been my family; They’re there through thick and thin, offering love, laughter and loyalty. I believe they deserve pride of place in our homes, and if you agree, then you’re in the perfect place!

I set up Furever in Focus to capture each pet’s unique personality, the quirks, the expressions and the little things that make them truly one-of-a-kind. For me, photography is more than just digital files; It’s the joy of creating tangible memories: a framed moment that greets you every time you walk by, and a memory that makes you smile for years to come.

Together, let’s celebrate, honour and create beautiful memories of your four-legged family members.

How I shoot

When I photograph your pet, their welfare is always my top priority. Every session is guided by patience, kindness and respect for their comfort. Whether that means taking breaks, letting them sniff around, and working at their pace, each session will be tailored to your pet. I aim to create a relaxed, fun experience that feels more like playtime than posing, helping you and your pet make happy memories together.

From first click to the final frame, everything I do is guided by care, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the joy pets bring into our lives.

The Furever in Focus Experience

01. Get in Touch to Book

The journey begins with a quick hello! Whether you reach out via my website, email or social media, I’ll be in touch to answer any initial questions and secure a date for your session. It’s easy, friendly and no pressure. Just the start of something special. To get in touch, complete this form.

02. Pre-Session Consultation

Before the camera comes out, we’ll have a relaxed chat to plan your session. We’ll talk about your pet’s personality, favourite spots, and any other quirks or needs - including if they’re a little shy or nervous around new people. For dogs who need a gentler introduction, I’m more than happy to meet them beforehand, perhaps join you for a walk, and come armed with treats and patience! I can even bring my camera along so they can get used to the sights and sounds in a calm, pressure-free way. This session helps us build trust and ensures your pet feels safe, comfortable and ready to shine on the day.

03. Bespoke Outdoor Photography Session

This is where the magic happens! Your pet sets the pace, as I work with their comfort in mind at all times. That’s why my sessions do not have a time limit. Although they will usually last around 60-90 mins, if your pet needs longer, that’s ok! The session is playful, relaxed and completely tailored to your pet’s nature. Whether we’re chasing golden hour light in the park, or exploring their favourite woodland path, we’ll create beautiful, natural moments that truly reflect their personality.

04. Personalised Viewing & Artwork Selection

After your session we’ll schedule a relaxed, personalised viewing where you’ll see the very best images from our time together. This is such a special part of the process, and will usually be organised within 2-3 weeks of your session date. I’ll guide you through all the beautiful artwork options, from handcrafted framed prints and wall pieces to custom-designed print boxes. Together, we’ll choose the collection that best suits your space, your style, and your memories. No pressure, just plenty of support and honest advice to help you select what feels right.

05. Hand-Delivered To Your Door

Once your artwork has been carefully created, I’ll personally deliver it to your door (where possible) or arrange secure delivery. Every piece is handcrafted with love by a multi-award-winning, family-owned professional lab - ensuring the highest quality, built to last a lifetime. From the moment you unwrap it, you’ll see and feel the difference. Your art will be a celebration of your pet, ready to take pride of place in your home.

You won’t receive pixels, you’ll walk away with heirloom-quality art

FAQs

  • While dogs are the most common stars of my sessions, I happily welcome all pets - big, small, furry, feathered or scaled. If they’re part of your family, they absolutely deserve to be celebrated.

  • Absolutely. I work at your pet’s pace and offer optional meet-and-greet sessions beforehand to help build trust. I’ll bring plenty of treats and my camera so they can get used to the sounds - creating a calm, familiar experience when the session day arrives.

  • No problem at all! The vast majority of pets I photograph stay on-lead for their session, especially if they’re a flight risk or still working on recall. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I use clever angles, long lines and a bit of magic in post-processing to edit out leads in your final images, so you’ll never even notice they were there.

  • That’s completely ok, most don’t! My sessions are designed to be relaxed and fun, with lots of movement and play. I’ve got plenty of patience and techniques to capture beautiful, natural moments that reflect your pet just as they are.

  • My sessions are held outdoors in beautiful, natural settings within 15 miles of GL2. If your pet has a special place they love or you’d prefer a home outdoor session, I’m more than happy to accommodate.

  • Bring your pet’s favourite treats, toys, water, and anything that helps them feel relaxed. If we’re doing a Forget Me Not session, feel free to bring sentimental items like blankets or keepsakes too.

  • Absolutely! You’re welcome to be part of the session. These are memories for you as much as your pet. Sessions include up to two family members, with the option to add more for a small fee.

  • I don’t set strict time limits on sessions. Typically they last 60-90 minutes, but we take all the time your pet needs to feel comfortable, especially for Forget Me Not sessions.

Sessions usually take place in the early evening (depending on time of year), about 1-2 hours before sunset, to take advantage of the soft, golden light, which is perfect for beautiful, glowing images.

  • We know the British weather can be unpredictable! If needed, we’ll simply reschedule your session at no extra cost - your pet’s comfort and the best lighting are both important to me.

If you need to reschedule for any reason, just let me know as soon as you can. While session fees are non-refundable, there’s no charge to reschedule due to illness or unexpected circumstances. I completely understand that life happens.

  • Within 2-3 weeks we’ll schedule a Viewing & Artwork Consultation where you’ll see the best images (minimum of 20). This can be done face-to-face or over Zoom. I’ll help you select your favourites and decide which artwork suits your home and style best.

  • The session fee covers the shoot itself and includes a product credit (£40 or £65 depending on the session type). You’ll then have the option to purchase your favourite artwork separately from a curated range of heirloom-quality products.

  • Once you've chosen your artwork and payment is received, your pieces will be carefully ordered and handcrafted by a sustainable, professional print lab. Most orders are ready within 3–4 weeks, depending on what you’ve selected. I’ll keep you updated throughout the process and, where possible, personally hand-deliver your finished pieces.
